An empty bowl –
forgotten under the snow
two shrunken snowdrops

空のボール－
雪の下で忘れられた
２本のスノードロップ

Magnolia in bud
on the other side of the window –
I give up reading

蕾をつけたマグノリア
窓の反対側に－
私は読書をあきらめる

Leaving behind
a sad lotus in bloom –
an alone rower

花の咲いた悲しいハスを置き去りに－
たった一人の漕ぎ手

Moonlight Sonata –
even the crickets chorus
stopped singing

月光のソナタ－
コオロギのコーラスさえ
鳴くのをやめた

Between two melons
too much muffled up –
the scarecrow

包まれすぎたメロンの間－
かかし

In the ramshackle garret
searching for my past –
bee in insectarium

崩れそうな屋根裏で
私の過去を捜している－
昆虫館のハチ

Desert station –
the wind stops for a moment
to take a thistle

無人駅－
風が一瞬止まる
アザミを取るために

Ruined gateway –
only the terrible wind
still opens it

壊滅したゲートウエー－
ひどい風だけがまだそれを開ける

Firewood cracking –
over the fireplace
summer in a picture

まきが割れる－
暖炉の上
写真の夏
                                              
Rainbow in the same sky –
So many different colors
But the same heartbeat

同じ空の虹－
たくさんの異なる色
しかし同じ心拍
